Born in Ivrea (Turin, Italy), in 1977.
“When I was a child I used to draw with pencils and chalk the figures of the main characters of cartoons.”
“During high school years I knew the underground culture and I’ve realized a punk fanzine with my thoughts and illustrations.”
2002 University of Turin, Degree in History of cinema with a thesis on the films of Andy Warhol.
2004-2005 Istituto Europeo di Design of Turin, Master in film animation techniques. After a stage I worked for two years (2004-2006) in Enarmonia, an animation film study in Turin.
“The technique of acrylic becomes my choice of style. My pictorial stroke is deliberately simple and my subjects are female figures with bright contrasting colors. Dolls, innocent-looking and at the same time distrurbing, provocative…these dolls are the exasperation of image and beauty.”
In 2009 I’ve started to show my works, organizing my personal exhibitions in my city, Turin.
